Why don't you keep him? Honestly, since they're the #1 US shelter 'breed', chances are slim that he will find a home. At my town shelter, for every one that is adopted out, 10 more are brought in, and they've started a program where they are PAYING people $200 to adopt one and the shelter is STILL full. Between stereotypes, breed bans and issues with homeowner's insurance not covering breeds that are deemed dangerous, it's nearly impossible to place these dogs. Find local rescues in your area, but honestly most are full as well and are desperately looking for fosters just to keep these dogs alive. His best chance will probably be with you
