How do I keep from being stalked by store associates?

I'm a twenty-seven year old female. �I'm married, but look much younger. �I'm only 5'2" tall. � I have money, but I often dress in t-shirt and jean, because it's hot and humid where I live. � More often than not, I am followed by store associates. I was once harassed for placing �an item down as I looked at other items. �I was accused of "misrepresenting". �Unfortunately, my lawyer didn't feel taking the company to court would do any good. �The fact that I dress down and appear to be much younger than I am, are the only reasons I can think of that may be causing me to be treated this way. Other than dressing in a less casual way, what are some other ways I can avoid being stalked by store employees? Thanks in advance for your helpful replies.
