Shouldn't the President of the United States know the difference between legal and illegal immigration?

The issue over illegal immigration is an economic as well as a political one. True, the Democrats like to reap the votes that immigrants bring them, but Republicans also enjoy the cheap labor. So illegals are here to stay.
